EMBRIE DILLARD

Yesterday, I got the worst news ever. I was beyond angry when I found out I was married to E. Out of all the niccas I dealt with, he was the last person I wanted to marry. The only thing good about his ass was his big dick and even fatter pockets. Still, no amount of money or dick would have persuaded me to get married.

I liked being single and carefree. I liked going as I pleased without any attachments. Yeah, E and I were spending time together, fucking around, but I didn’t take it seriously. Besides, he wasn’t boyfriend material, let alone husband material. If we weren’t fucking, we were arguing.

The little pettiness we had going on was cute because he wasn’t my man. I knew what it was. Fun. That’s it. That’s all. As badly as I wanted to call Monse and Treasure, I was too embarrassed. I wasn’t about to have them clown me because I got so drunk that I married a nicca I barely knew. Not that long ago, we didn’t even like each other. Now, we were husband and wife.

I was sure E didn’t tell his brothers either. When I left, he was sitting on the floor, holding a bottle of rum with devastation written all over his face. I could have stayed so we could lean on each other, but a bitch felt like being selfish. That nicca needed to process this shit on his own, and I would do the same. Besides, if I had stayed, we might have really come to blows after saying a bunch of slick shit to each other. I knew my mouth, and I knew how he got too. We would have taken this out on each other instead of working together. Both of us would be showing up to court with two black eyes, probably.

E paid top dollar to his lawyer and mine to get an emergency court date. His lawyer recommended a colleague who would represent me. It didn’t matter to me as long as he was paying.

E was serious about ending our marriage, and I was too. I didn’t care how rich he was; I didn’t want the nicca as my husband. Both of our lawyers stated that it should be an open and shut case because we weren’t disputing anything, we didn’t have any kids, no property, and I didn’t have his last name. I was willing to sign any papers given to me just so I wasn’t legally attached to him.

Other women in this situation probably would have been happy. A billionaire nicca on their arm with so much disposable income that he could bathe in it for the rest of his life. Not me, though. I wasn’t built like that. I liked my own. Yeah, I might have run up a bag on his Black card, but that shit was different. It was on some get back shit because he got me fired.

This wasn’t the case. I didn’t want anything from him.
